I believe that every image tells a story, and every story is an invitation to see the world a little more clearly. As a filmmaker and photographer, my work has always been guided by my heart—a journey that has taken me from the quiet moments of a solo photography project to the vibrant, shared energy of a collaborative film set.

With a background rooted in the visual arts and a Master of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I’ve spent over 25 years exploring the layers of personal identity that make us who we are. Whether I’m behind the lens capturing the "meditation" of a landscape or directing a narrative that explores our shared human traditions, my goal is to convey truth with a sense of wonder.

Beyond my own creations, my greatest joy comes from guiding others. From my early days teaching in refugee camps to my current role as Chair of Media Arts at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, I am dedicated to helping the next generation of storytellers find their own unique voices. For me, film is more than a medium; it’s a beautiful, ongoing exchange of ideas that brings us all a little closer together.
